- 4 / 5By Clinton MorganWhen in Northam it's a good idea to try good homemade cooking like granny used to make. The portions are generous and there's a no frills wholesomeness about the meals. Coffee is excellent. I like to try the semi healthy alternatives. So far I've had the quiche and then today I has poached eggs on miltigrain toast with avocado, spinach and bacon (instead of ham). It was equivalent to a Dome breakfast except with a cosier down-to-earth homeliness about it. I would've preferred a thicker spread of avocado in place of the small spread they used (in place of butter) on the toast.
Everything else made for a good country style eatery worthy of 4 stars.September 12, 2016
